PROJECT : THE SPIRAL
This is one of my projects using spiral components of this website. Basically, the building is composed of double spiral surfaces which are generated from the inside spirals. The height and area of each floor keep changing parametrically according to the controlling geometry (See ‘density spiral’ and ‘geometry controlling geometry’ examples). And one spiral is enveloped with mesh structure using diagonal connection (See the diagonal connection examples).

can you upload the grasshopper definition for the Spiral
so very interesting! you’re like an architect from inception
Could you explain how you fixed the mesh on the building and also I can not seem to find the definition for spiral anywhere on the website…
thanks in advance

Thanks for interest. It is using double spirals, which makes it possible to connect points on different spiral curves vertically. You know, two different type of spirals grow on two different spiral axis. And meshing is also using internal double spiral along the spiral axis. It is not visible on the image, but you can see another invisible curve defining crossing points of mesh.
