In many times, we need to build terrain surface in architecture. There are other applications or plug-in to build a terrain. But this component could be another option to build a terrain surface pretty quickly by using grasshopper. It’s a simple and easy tip to convert ‘contour’ curves to ‘uv’ curves.

This is useful for any parametric landscape modeling. It works perfectly based on “Cos” fuction ( A Cos Bx + C ). So 3-d landscape geometry is controled by 2-d Cos curve.
